‘Peach and Wine’
60 x 80 cm, created with high quality acrylic paint and a combination with iridescent paint that makes the faces glow depending on how the light hits the room.
This piece is part of my faceless portraits series, which is deeply inspired by everyday people, emotions, and the simple things around us. For this painting, I wanted to bring together a few of my favorite things: people, peaches, red wine, and flowers to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that fills up the room.
Because the figures are faceless, the story is entirely up to you. For me, it represents the delicate connection between two people, something as fragile as a flower that we have to protect and keep alive. If you look closely at the faces, the iridescent paint almost acts like a mirror. It's a reminder of how the people closest to us often reflect our own emotions right back at us. But ultimately? I want this painting to tell your story.
For buyers outside the UK, this painting will be shipped rolled in a protective tube, and will need to be stretched or mounted upon arrival.
