This painting actually started completely from the background. I began with that smooth, calm shade of muted teal, and let the figure naturally grow out of it.

I kept the face open and featureless so you can project your own mood onto the canvas, whether you see a sense of calm, deep thought, or quiet confidence. It’s a beautifully balanced, artistic piece that adds a refreshing splash of color and texture to a room.

For buyers outside the UK, this painting will be shipped rolled in a protective tube, and will need to be stretched or mounted upon arrival.
